• Choose a planting spot in full sun and well-drained soil.
• Plant the bulbs with the tip of the bulb up, 3” (8 cm) deep and 6-8” (15-20 cm) apart.
• Plant in the garden when soil temperature reaches 50° F (10° C) or more.

Winterizing
Winterizing
• In the fall, let the leaves die back; don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight and provide nourishment for next year's show.
• Hymenocallis is not winter hardy in zone 4-7 and need to be dug up after the first frost.
• Do not wash but dry the bulbs for a day.
• Store cool 60° F (16° C) in a box on a bed of moist peat moss, in a dry area.
